Chapter Officers

Jazmin Jervis is a junior political science major, spanish minor from Philadelphia, PA. She currently serves as President for the 'Beautiful' Beta Iota Chapter. She has a passion or serving her Spelman sisters which has encouraged her to serve on class council every year since she began her matriculation. Upon graduation, Jazmin plans to attend law school to serve her community in the court room. Her hobbies include singing, reading and bettering her walk with God.

Ajene Holmes is a junior Psychology Major and serves as the Vice President of the Beta Iota Chapter. She thoroughly enjoys giving back to the community. She served as an 8th grade English Language Arts Teacher during the summer of 2015. After Spelman, Ajene plans to attend graduate school to obtain her Ph.D in Clinical Psychology. Her favorite quote is: "To whom much is given, much is required."

Sade Tuckett was born and raised in the Bronx, NY, currently residing in New Rochelle, NY. An islander at heart, she highly values her Caribbean culture of St. Croix, U.S. Vrigin Islands. She is currently matriculating as a Psychology major, French minor. Ultimately, she aspires to obtain her Master's Degree in International Affairs and go forth to work in global conflict resolution. Sade is an active member of the AUC Muslim Student Association and a co-charterer of the AUC Students for Justice in Palestine, the first HBCU to do so. Her hobbies include painting, drawing, dance and henna design.

Keena Evette White is a Junior, Education Studies major at Spelman College. She was born and raised in Keswick, Virginia rooted and grounded in God with a strong love for her church family. The daughter of two lovely parents, she has dedicated her life to working hard while remaining humble. As young girl, she struggled with speech and reading comprehension, which led to her being placed into remedial classes. Despite these setbacks, she strived to be her best, and ended high school in the top percentile of her class. The struggles of her youth helped her to develop a passion for education and a drive to help other young people who struggle academically. Recently, she has worked with Kumon Math and Reading Tutoring Center as an office manager and tutor to students and is also a member of the MLK Chapel Choir, the Spelman Independent Scholar program, the Coca-Cola mentorship program, and sits on the Youth Advisory board at her local church. She believes that everyone has a purpose and hers is to serve those around her.
